Cory S. Fawcett, M.D., F.A.C.S.

grew up in and feel honored when you choose me as your surgeon.”
Overview:
Doctor Fawcett was born and raised in the
Rogue Valley. He headed off to Stanford and then to Oregon Health
Sciences University (OHSU) where he completed his medical degree
on a naval scholarship. After a General Surgery Residency at Kern
Medical Center in California, he returned home, became board certified,
and quickly accepted his new roles and responsibilities in the community.
His past leadership has included President of the Josephine County
Medical Society, Chief of Surgery at Three Rivers Community Hospital,
Board of Directors of the Mid-Rogue IPA among others.
Giving back to the community is an important aspect of Doctor Fawcett’s
life. He is currently helping train young surgeons as an OHSU Clinical
Assistant Professor of Surgery.
